Abstract:
The present day cosmological experiments have revealed that 96% of energy and matter of our universe is unknown. The visible universe only contributes to be 4% of the energy budget of the universe. Yet scientists have no idea what this unknown and major part of the universe is made up of. In this talk, I will discuss why we need dark matter and dark energy for our existence and also I will discuss the upcoming endeavour to detect them.
