Eligibility:

Any Graduate and must be Retired Defence Force (Army, Navy, Air Force) in Junior Commissioned rank in Army or similar rank in Air Force / Navy.

OR

Retired Para Military / Police (CISF, CRPF, BSF, RPF, SSB, State Police) in equivalent rank. Knowledge in fire safety measures and handling of firefighting equipment desirable

Scale of Pay:

Pay Matrix Level 7 of 7th CPC (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400) & other allowances as admissible under the rules of NCSM. (Total emoluments at start shall be Rs.95,788.00 approx. in A-1 cities and will change depending on the place of posting)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following post:

1.       Science Communicator                       - 2 Nos.

Stipend                                - ` 35,000/- p.m. (consolidated)

Education Qualification                       - M.Sc. with Physics/ Chemistry / Life Sciences/ Environmental Science/ Bio-Technology OR equivalent M.Sc. degree in applied science subjects from a                                                                                 duly recognized University. Candidates passed on or after 2023 can apply.

Place of test                                              - Regional Science Centre & Planetarium, Jafferkhan Colony, Calicut - 673006

Tenure for science communicatorship/traineeship is 1 Year (extendable for one more year).
