To fully experience the RSCP, Calicut, it’s best to plan ahead—it’s easy to spend hours here. The average visiting span required is about 4 hours. The museum is open from 10:00 am to 6: 00 pm daily, and if you check our website, you’ll find that select dates and programs have extended hours. In 365 days of the year the museum is closed only on Diwali and Vijayadashami.

Visiting Hours: 10.00am – 6.00pm (Open all seven days a week)
Working Hours (Office): 9.30am to 6.00pm with lunch break from 01:00 PM to 01:30 PM; Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays are HOLIDAY for OFFICE ONLY.
Galleries remain open on all days from 10.00 AM to 06:00 PM except on Onam & Diwali.
Parking facility
Limited parking facility is available in the centre... Minimum parking fee is collected from visitors, ie, for two wheelers, Rs.5/- and four wheelers Rs.10/. There is no parking fee for the school bus and Tourist Bus.
Tips and Tricks for a Better Visit
General public can plan the visit in the afternoon. Normally morning session is crowded with school groups. School groups wish to spend whole day at this centre, then please chose the month from June to September. Special attention can be given to the students group during this period. Guided tours are available in galleries at specific times.
